About Erik
My name is Erik... I like impossible challenges and I always persist until I win. Before that, I use to co-run a theatre, wrote and performed numerous stand-up comedy shows, I worked on the design and construction of opera sets, also worked as stage manager for an international school, and directed short films...
My last feature screenplay - INDICIUM - is a Dark thriller set in NY.
After writing a Thriller, Drama and Mystery film called “Dogs barking in the night“, I wanted to develop a story that was simmering in my head for a long time. A Dark Thriller that would encapsulate a difficult subject, concerning the power of religions in the world and the abuse that still results today. I spent more than two years reading books and watching documentaries about all this, and after different plots and a few concepts accumulated in my mind, I wrote this film INDICIUM. It was amazing work and I'm passionate about what I discovered and the wonderfull people I met as well. Especially when I went to New York to ask questions and take photos and visit possible locations for this film. Now, this screenplay burns my hands and I would be glad if someone would like to read it. I am convinced by its strong potential and I hope that a producer will be interested to the point of wanting to produce it.
