Ellie Martino

Ellie Martino is an accomplished writer with a professional background in TV and film development. She most recently served as Creative Executive at Exhibit A Films, where she played a key role in managing a diverse slate of development projects, including Netflix's "The Night Agent," ABC's "United We Fall," and the upcoming Netflix feature "Back in Action." Ellie has extensive experience across the entertainment industry, having worked in representation at Bauman Management, served as an editorial assistant for Nerdist Industries (putting her niche nerd knowledge to good use), and freelanced as an artist, creating decks for TV pitches and designing characters for animated projects.

Throughout her years in development, Ellie has worked closely with writers, producers, and directors to shape both original and IP-based ideas into sellable pitches and scripts. And as a writer herself, she has a deep understanding of the creative process and can thus meet creatives where they’re at and give them the support they need!

As a comedy and animation writer (represented by CAA and Fourth Wall Management), Ellie recently sold her animated comedy pilot, "The Shelbys," to Sony Pictures Television. Additionally, she has earned several playwriting awards and is a proud member of the Upright Citizen's Brigade’s house sketch team, Baguette!
