Jauryn Franklin

Hi there again! My name is Jauryn Franklin, I am a current Senior at Columbia College Chicago, with a major in Film & Television! My mother named me after the famous musician, Miss Lauryn Hill, with the hope that I too would come out singing lullabies and melodies, but instead, she got a video editor!  As a video editor, my passion for the field is ever-expanding, as I continue to discover and create new ways to incorporate ideas and concepts to construct a workflow that is not only professional but seamless. I've been editing since I was a nine-year-old kid, fooling around with programs like Windows Movie Maker & Sony Vegas Software. As I've advanced in my editing career, I've branched out into using Adobe Products such as Premiere Pro and Photoshop, while also dabbling in other software such as DaVinci Resolve & Avid Media Composer.
