Maxwell Moore

Max is a Director/Cinematographer based in Los Angeles. He wrote and directed the sitcom pilot he created called Perfect Team. The campy comedy depicts the ups and downs encountered by two complete strangers starting a new restaurant together, portraying the opposite of a perfect team, thus playing on the name.

After moving to Los Angeles to promote his new Sitcom, he found home in Hollywood and decided to focus on making Music Videos and Spec Commercials shot on 8mm, 16mm and 35mm film. By doing so, he was able to learn the art of Cinematography and satisfy his passion for shooting film.

When digital took over the world of filmmaking, Moore decided to switch fields due to his lack of interest in shooting digital video. But this all came to an end when a few years ago he witnessed film, the medium, making a comeback - jumpstarting his passion and calling him to return. Moore was back, this time in full force, creating his YouTube channel Magic Pictures USA, and gathering thousands of views.

When asked what he likes about film, he quickly replies:”I like the experience of shooting film. Film is an experience, and so is Life.”
