Arvid Mahieu

My name is Arvid Mahieu, a third-year student at LUCA School of Arts Narafi in Brussels. I am a passionate storyteller with a strong desire to explore the ‘magic of cinema’ and leave my mark on the industry. My focus lies in directing, screenwriting, and production, and I aim to collaborate with experienced filmmakers to develop my creativity and craft memorable projects.

I’ve directed and written several short films, acted as producer for student projects, and completed internships as an Assistant Production Manager. I am a hardworking, creative thinker with strong leadership skills, always striving to bring unique ideas to life while solving problems effectively.

The one quote my teacher told me throughout my last project was something that stuck with me: "You have a style, and you are special in that style. Though I don't understand it yet completely, I see the potential."
