About Jolynn

Hi, I’m Jolynn J Chin—a Grammy®-considered crossover pianist, composer, and producer specializing in progressive, time-changing piano music. Imagine this, virtuosic compositions that incorporate modern sounds, electronic elements in off-time rhythms. I also teach students how to do all of this, and help film directors create something special for their projects with music that changes time! That's what I do.

I’ve been fortunate to gain international recognition for my music, including an appearance on America’s Got Talent Season 16 and a nomination for Best Original Film Music at the National Youth Film Awards. My collaborations with Grammy®-winning artists and mastering sessions at Abbey Road Studios in London have been among my career highlights.

Beyond performance and composition, I am passionate about inspiring musicians through educational resources, with my masterclasses, encouraging them to explore the complexities of time-changing music.
