About Alejandra

Ecuadorian actress, director and playwright based in Mexico. She graduated from the Center for Cinematographic Studies of Catalonia (Barcelona, Spain), she specialized in the study of the Stella Adler technique through Boyan Ivic's Modern Method Acting. She is also an alumni of the Art of Acting Stella Adler Studio (Los Angeles, United States). She has worked in multiple short films, movies, television series, and plays, in Spain, Ecuador, and Mexico. She has been part of the main cast in several episodes of the hit web series Enchufe TV. She has also worked as a Casting Director for films in Ecuadorian, Mexican and American productions, such as Welcome Back, by Tiffany Kontoyiannis (available on HBO Max). She has a BA in Journalism and an MA in Screenwriting. In 2022 she premiered Abril y la sombra, her first monologue; where she imprinted her vision and style as a director, actress and writer in a piece that confronted her with her own frustrations.
