I am a filmmaker who has pursued social sciences in university to better write, direct, and edit films/tv in a way that enriches representation for those on the margins.

I am interested in creating stories that feature women, non-white people, LGBTQ+ people, disabled people, plus-sized people, and others who have systemically and historically been misrepresented and underrepresented in the film industry. I aim to do this by avoiding the trauma in traditional narratives about these groups and instead creating representation of these identities that is yet to exist (or so hard to find).

Not only do I want to create these stories-- I want to work with casts and crews who reflect the stories. Actors, gaffers, writers, animators, DOPs, I am looking to work with those who are also on the margins in this industry.

I am currently interested in scripted work with a preference for drama, comedy, romance, fantasy, and coming-of-age tales.
