Marshal Hunter is a seasoned filmmaker and founder of Noble Giant Films, an entertainment development and production company established in 2013. Noble Giant Films is dedicated to crafting purpose-driven stories, believing that great films are highly entertaining, visually stunning, morally grounded, and financially successful.
Hunter's journey in the film industry began in 2002, working as a production assistant and grip in San Diego and Los Angeles. He got to work with national brands such as HGTV’s Designers Challenge, Coca-Cola, and the San Diego Padres, gaining valuable on-set experience.
In 2004, he transitioned to a lead video editor role at Crossroads Church in Louisiana, where he edited a variety of weekly deliverables, including promotional videos, sermons, short films, and a 30-minute television show aired on local Fox and ABC affiliates.
After returning to Virginia in 2007, Hunter expanded into post-production services, working with notable clients like Matt Nix, creator and showrunner of hit TV shows such as Burn Notice, Good Guys, Gifted, and Turner and Hooch. He also collaborated with Ferguson Enterprises, the largest distributor of plumbing products in the United States, serving as a second camera assistant for their in-house TV show, It's Show Time, and filming B-roll for various projects.
To date, Hunter has completed over 3,000 film and video projects for clients worldwide. He has produced numerous short films, including No Greater Love (2024), Imagine That (2021), Proof (2019), and Mistaken Fate (2018). Most recently, he produced The Music We Call Country, a documentary exploring the rich heritage of country music and its evolution through generations - now streaming on PrimeVideo.
