Wednesday series Crime Wednesday Season 3 – Episode 1 Idea Hello, my name is Émile, I’m a big fan of the Wednesday series, and when I saw that Enid was close to Canada/Quebec, I came up with a little scenario that Netflix might like. I’m even ready to play the character myself. Beginning Everything would start at the border between Canada and the United States. Enid, in her werewolf form, decides to cross into Canada, where she can hide better among the bigger forests and trees. Wednesday follows the last picture taken near the border, where Enid was last seen. When Wednesday arrives near the border, she sees the police investigating a broken wall. She immediately thinks of her friend. She knows now that Enid is no longer in the United States—she’s in Canada. So, Wednesday decides to head into Canada to find her friend. What she doesn’t know is that Enid is not just anywhere in Canada—she’s in the province of Quebec. Far from the border, Wednesday sees a group of hunters celebrating as if they’ve just gotten a big catch. Wednesday asks her uncle Fester to go check with the hunters. Uncle Fester asks Wednesday: — “You want to see hunters with dead animals?” — “No, I think they might have seen something… maybe even her,” Wednesday replies. — “But at the same time, you do want to see dead animals?” Fester insists. — “No,” Wednesday replies firmly. So Wednesday and Fester approach the hunters. Wednesday shows them a photo of Enid in her werewolf form and asks if they’ve seen a wolf. — “Well yeah, we saw her yesterday, even got a picture of it!” says the first hunter. — “And we’re gonna ask the press for a lot of money for it,” adds another. For once, Wednesday doesn’t understand a word of what they said in Quebec slang—but Fester understands perfectly. — “Basically, Wednesday, they’re saying they saw her, and they just want to make money off the photo.” Meanwhile, in the forest, Enid is caught in a bear trap that clamps onto her right foot. Wounded and exhausted, she sees a man with a rifle coming toward her. She fears he’ll kill her. But instead of fear, the man looks thrilled. — “Finally, tabarnak! I’ve caught a big wolf!” He raises his rifle and aims at Enid. Terrified, Enid tries to run, but with her injured foot, she can’t. She’s shot—but instead of a bullet, she feels a syringe hit her chest. She quickly falls asleep. Wednesday, still searching in the darkness, suddenly sees the man carrying Enid in her human form. Running toward him with a knife, Wednesday threatens to kill him if he doesn’t give her friend back and explain how he turned her back to human. Pinned to the ground, the man explains: — “I just shot her with a bear tranquilizer. She passed out, then started transforming back.” Wednesday can’t believe it’s that simple. The man continues: — “It’s because she calmed down. The more stressed a werewolf is, the longer they stay transformed. When they relax, they revert to human form.” Wednesday orders Fester to take Enid back to the United States, to return her to her parents. Fester agrees but asks, “What about this young man?” Wednesday replies: — “We’ll bring him with us. He can explain how to keep Enid stable.” Here's my story script that I created. I hope Netflix, Tim Burton, or a manager can see it. If any of you see it and tell me, if you have any ideas, I'd be happy to share them with you, and I'd be willing to play the Quebecois and show you the reasons for the strange lyrics.
