Voiceovers seem to be a problem for other Directors, but not for me. This is one of the voiceovers from "Trying to Reach 100," a screenplay about Son, a man from Los Angeles, who needs to drive his father, Pops, from Iowa to California to put him in a nursing home. Feeling guilty, he decides to take Pops down Route 66, never imagining the trouble they would get into. These images are generated through AI. Even though I'm not a man, I went ahead and voiced the voiceover. I couldn't get the AI generated voices to do what I wanted. Writer/Director/Producer/Voice Over Artist is Mari Bengston on this short film.

This short video was created by 21 (twenty-one) AI generated clips that are 3-9 seconds long and start from the same picture. Twenty-one times the video reverts back to the same original picture. There were two prompts for the computer, "Princess Elowen turns her head left and looks out onto the kingdom" and "Princess Elowen sings." Yes I know there are mistakes. I didn't correct any of them. This is just pure computer generated images. Here's the background story: Princess Elowen of Amandor has always wondered about the world outside of the palace. At the age of 16 she gets her chance to leave the palace, when an Evil Witch kidnaps her parents and Princess Elowen along with the help of her friends must travel to the Evil Witch’s lair to free her parents and restore the Kingdom of Amandor. Princess Elowen’s friend Pepper, a fishbird (part fish, part bird can swim and fly and morph into other shapes like an octopus), makes the journey with her as they travel through the desert and forest meeting friends along the way and facing obstacles along their path. Fishbirds don’t fly in the air, they swim in the air and fly in the water.
