About Bert

I am an independent producer/director and writer. My business is in Fairfax, VA. My experience goes back to 1967 when I first began at KCST 39 TV in San Diego, CA. I left TV production due to a layoff in San Diego and changed course to become a police officer until 1988. Shortly after that, I started BLM Productions. My early primary interest was documentaries in Civil War History and have completed 4 of them. In addition to independent films, BLM Productions is also a multi tasked video production company on a commercial level.
