Kevin Lee Miller

I’m an optioned, award-winning screenwriter specializing in character-driven stories with a sense of humor. After all, life is too important to take it too seriously. I’ve applied that sensibility to genres including Action, Horror, and Family Drama. I began in features and now also enjoy the larger canvas TV provides. My scripts have won or placed highly in major competitions including the Nicholl and the Austin Film Festival. I started as an actor which may explain my love of dialogue as well as my respect for how the right expression can be worth a thousand words. I have extensive experience as an Emmy-nominated editor, producer, and director of television, documentaries, and promos. I thrive in collaborative environments and take pleasure in building worlds that are familiar but different.
