Stephen likes to dress and pretend to be a girl. After being away from home for a while, Stephen decides it’s time to come out to his family. After spending the night in a hotel room and talking to his sister Sherry on the phone, he decides to come home for Thanksgiving as his true self. When he does, his whole family gets a big surprise but is soon able to except Stephen for how he wants to be, everyone except for his brother Josh. Josh still sees Stephen as his kid brother and has a difficult time accepting the way Stephen wants to be. As the family sits for their Thanksgiving feast, Josh makes disturbing comments toward Stephen. Stephen has an outburst and walks out of the room. After the rest of the family brings Josh to his senses, he goes and apologizes to Stephen. They have a heart to heart conversation and everything becomes better. The family finishes their feast and then plays a game of family football, giving Stephen a chance to prove to Josh that he can still be his kid brother.
