Expand postHi all, I'm an actor primarily, residing in Austin, TX, coming up on 6 years now! Hard to believe, but I'll be celebrating my 6th anniversary of residency here in January. It's been a fun ride thus far, and things have been picking up speed for me on the acting front in the last couple of years due to a good deal of persistence and a bit of luck here and there. I've been a background actor in some major things, and a featured character in some smaller indie/short projects, always looking to expand my horizons along with the resume though. I've done a bit of voice acting, the most recent project was for a computer game that I can't reveal the name of yet (NDA and all that), but it was great fun, especially since I got to work with someone whose work I have enjoyed for years prior to even becoming an actor. I'll be able to reveal more details about that later. Another highlight for me was getting to play imprisoned serial killer Jake "Mr. Hyde" Hyde in "Six Pack Sam", a indie grindhouse-style feature film being shot locally in Austin. Here is a teaser video for it (you can see my character for a second at 0:27): http://vimeo.com/78217492 It was great fun working with that group of fine people, and I hope to do so again. I've been working very hard getting my foot in the door, and it's still tough going, but I have no intention of giving up, now that I've found what I want to do for the rest of my life. This is my calling. I found it a bit later than many find theirs, but each path is different, and I clearly have an unusual one to follow in my life. I'm still working on getting an agent, just sent a submission to a well-reputed agency in town as my latest effort on that front. Updated my headshots and resume recently, always signing up for more classes, workshops, and training (took a fun stage combat workshop recently). I'll keep at it. Best wishes to all in your creative pursuits, and I hope to see you on set! Thanks for listening.
