Charlie is a comedy Director first, Writer second - based in Edinburgh, Scotland.
My story takes me from Napier university studying film, out to the fringe working in tandem with comedians (such as Daniel Sloss) on youtube sitcoms and then stepping out on my own to write/direct comedy content under my own name for BBC's online platforms and now I'm trying to up my game and get myself more comedy/commercial works under the belt and prove my metal so that I can move onto the dream of Writing/Directing a sitcom of my own.
I'm a two-time nominee for 'Best Online Comedy" award with the Scottish Comedy Awards and have been writing skits
for BBC (The Social & Short Stuff) for a little while now. The most views on which (Dave the Bouncer) has reached 6million+ views.
Also known for making the Bross Bagels campaign, locally viral in Edinburgh.
I've also have had the honour of shadowing Mr Danny Boyle as a guest of his on T2 - Trainspotting.

Co-creator, Writer, Actor MUFF is the comedic creation of Daniel Sloss, Tom Stade and many other talented and funny bastards. It follows the journey of Lawrence as he tries to stop television from destroying mankind. It's hilarious, it's stupid, it's in your face and most importantly, it's free. It wasn't created for profit, it was made just so we could prove to others and ourselves that we could.
Publicly funded, locally made, untouched by television execs who try to make everything "broad" and "accessible". Just unapologetic comedy that will probably get most of us banned from Heaven. Welcome to Hell.
