I've owned a video production company since 2005. I focused on weddings at first before switching to corporate work. I've produced videos for FCA Canada, Best Buy Canada, and Vistaprint, as well as numerous local small businesses. I've always been interested in filmmaking, and take a cinematic approach to all my productions. I've participated in some 48 hour film challenges, and was also the DP/Camera Operator for an episodic drama/comedy series called "Cooked," which screened (sold out) at a local theatre. It can now be viewed on YouTube.
That all took place in Windsor, Ontario, but in October of 2018, I moved to the Vancouver area. In part, to explore the mountains and natural beauty of the region, but also, to finally live in an area known for film production. In my time here so far, I've worked as a Set Dresser on 3 Hallmark movies, and have also worked as a Background Actor on The Flash and Riverdale, among others. I plan to get some headshots done and pursue speaking roles as well. I'm scheduled to be the DP for an upcoming 10-minute short film, and am also writing my own 3-minute short for the Rode Reel challenge.
I have a lot of gear, including the Blackmagic Pocket 4K Camera, Phantom 4 Advanced Drone, Manfrotto tripods, Sennheiser microphones, multiple lighting kits, gels and diffusion, and much more. I would like to get a gimbal soon, likely the Crane 3.
Looking to connect with people in the Vancouver area. I'm interested primarily in comedy, horror, and sci-fi, but would certainly entertain other genres as well. I attend most of the Raindance Booze N Shmooze events, so maybe I'll see you there for a pint! Also open to connecting with people from the Windsor, Ontario area (Detroit included), as I do make a few trips home every year.
