About Tamsyn

After completing her studies in Drama at university, Tamsyn began gaining experience in television & film production, where she worked her way up from floor runner, through the AD ranks and finally to the role of 1st AD. She has a real passion for working in all genres and in particular drama.

Tamsyn is now an experienced 1st Assistant Director with credits in both film and television. For production teams seeking an assistant director who prides herself on finishing all the shoots she's involved with on schedule and to a high standard - look no further!

She also worked as an Associate Producer where she developed her skills as a script reader & consultant and is now, herself, a freelance scriptwriter. Tamsyn's original five-part crime drama series is currently under consideration at the BBC. She's interested to collaborate with producers on her pilot script for a period drama, also for television, set during the Second World War. She has several short films scripts also in development and is writer of international film & distribution company Ouranos Film's new thriller feature, 'Confined'.
