I play the lead character “Grandma” in the stage play “Don’t Tell Grandma I Met Him Online” which was featured at the DC Black Theatre festival at the Ira Aldridge Theatre on the campus of Howard University, the play toured the east coast during the summer of 2012. I wrote the script, directed and filmed the 2005 music video “Sweet Pretty” from the CD “DeMoods” for Washington area Jazz artist Melvin Rogers. I assisted in the 2007 production in the acclaimed annual Evangel Cathedral Christmas concert which featured Gospel Grammy Award winning artists, Yolanda Adams, BeBe and CeCe Winans and Donnie McClurkin. I was the spokesperson in the commercial to promote the “Highest Praise” concert featuring Jeff Majors and Tanya Blount which was featured daily on the Bobby Jones TV show on BET.
