Hi Debbie, thank you. Yes, I did all the Foley as well, and will keep the film updated for its release.
Good work. What setup and daw are you using?
Hello Chris, thanks. Actually, my setup is fairly basic! I have a Scarlett 2i2 interface, KRK Rockit 5's, and an iMac I edit on. I use Sennheiser HD6 headphones for a closer listen as well. Most of my...
Expand commentHello Chris, thanks. Actually, my setup is fairly basic! I have a Scarlett 2i2 interface, KRK Rockit 5's, and an iMac I edit on. I use Sennheiser HD6 headphones for a closer listen as well. Most of my investment is in some of the best plugins out there such as Waves bundle, Ozone 8 and Neutron 2. My room is acoustically treated to get the flattest response as possible, so that is a huge help.
Wow that got me on the verge. Goose bumps.
Thanks Robert! Here is the Facebook page to keep updated on the film.

Expand commentI took two screenwriting courses at UCLA Extension in 1990-1991 and both were excellent. I studied Film at Los Angeles City College Film department, and I found it to be a very good department. I have a friend who teaches Film at Santa Monica City College, he taught Film at UCLA for at least 10 years. They're all great.
The Beverly Hills Playhouse. I would try to stay away from colleges-- they're very expensive and not as good as a year-round acting class such as the Beverly Hills Playhouse.
On that note, I Glendale Playhouse -if you are interested in theater- has an internship program where you pay for the classes, but you get cast in the plays and earn your Equity points.
I can tell you that UCLA Ext is great but very VERY pricey...
Finally we are going to New york city !! thanks for your comments, I ll keep good advices anyway.

there is one script rule all books preach for american movies - introduce your main Protag by page 10, or ten minutes.
In my opinion it's a fluid situation so that either you can do no wrong or you can't do anything right -- depending completely upon the reader's position and disposition.

You learn the highway code - then you drive. Then you mostly remember the rules automatically and drive, observing the rules when you want to. Same as screenwriting. BUT e.g. to put a plant in a screenplay without a payoff is just plain dumb. (etc)

Yes. I wrote my most recent script in Pig Latin. /sarc
