I realised a marketing technique to further promote movies, and it's working.
With the time Covid took from us and the physical time that is needed to write a movie screenplay or eBook,
I realised that it would be a smart move to first release an eBook version of my new kids adventure movie
© EARTH MOVERS ~ Determined Kids vs Evil Aliens.
It gets the awareness and branding of the product into people's minds early on, it comes before the physical book,
it starts an early revenue stream, the familiarisation in people's minds could help them choose to see
© EARTH MOVERS over another movie on offer and it's completely free to do.
The idea is working. Radio stations are interviewing me, libraries are adding it to their collections and schools are now inviting me in to chat about © Earth Movers and my life in film & TV to help give their students inspiration and ideas for a possible career path and our First Nations people have approved it and like it a lot. They're also helping me find, Milly, the 11 year-old First Nations girl. One of the three starring characters. (protagonists)
With marketing being the weakest link in my chain, my journey along the marketing and promotion
learning curve has begun.
I've written © EARTH MOVERS with the energy & flow of an action blockbuster drawing on my 40 odd years in
film & TV including what I've learnt working on Hollywood blockbusters. Parents of kids who are test reading it
tell me that their kids are completely engaged in the story, are talking about it when they're not reading it, are
talking about it to their classmates and teachers and the parents themselves are reading it and introducing it
to their kids' schools & teachers. Parents and grandparents are also reading it to their younger ones,
acting out scenes and doing voices. © EARTH MOVERS is bringing families together.
