Proud the short film Thank You Rebbe just won the World Film Festival best Jewish film award in Cannes. https://www.cannesworldfilmfestival.com
Some of my 'recent' work.
Language: English. Inspiring short film based on true events. A Ba'Al Teshuva (a secular Jew that turns to embrace Orthodox Judaism) walks into a Chabad House to write a letter to the Rebbe. Key moments of a life time unfold with an upbeat narrative. A man and woman are able to fill with meaning and joy every day, despite unfair challenges and pain. Completed in July 2016, Thank You Rebbe has already been selected and screened at the Glendale International Film Festival (LA) and the Chelsea Film Festival (NY) in October. This film does not pretend to present an accurate description of religious life. It is a fiction inspired by true events. Director: Daniel Vital Producers: Tim Frank, Daniel Vital Cast: David Kravitz, Rita Simon, Connor Norris, Demetria Thomas Production Company: Street Lamp LLC Official website: thankyourebbe.com
Hey! Just wanted to share my latest project. It's my most ambitious one yet. Let me know what you think. Thanks

I see your work as a backdrop to the travel industry - airlines, cruse lines, resorts and such. It's a good economic niche that you can make work for you. All the best with it.
I like your research for design and how you introduce the human element in your framing. There's definitely some talent. I would keep up the good work and aim for fashion photo shoots behind the scene...

I would keep up the good work and aim for fashion photo shoots behind the scenes videos. Just remember that all good editing is based on storytelling. If there's no story to tell, sometimes just revealing visually step by step the characters is a story itself. Good luck.
Thanks for the feedback. I'll definitely remember to incorporate it in my next project

I'm an Italian filmmaker relocated in USA in 2009... Since then I went through some wild emotional roller-coasters. I struggled in the 2009-2010 economy like millions of other Americans, in 2011 I had to accept a VISA that allowed me to stay in the US but not to work, in 2012 I became a father, in 2014 I was diagnosed with cancer at the bone marrow and spent two years dealing with pain, diagnosis, treatment and side effects and finally last year I received my work authorization back... So how does a filmmaker deal with this? I wrote, produced and directed a short film named Thank You Rebbe (2016) and today I finished to write my first feature film entitled Recycle Me.
I created a job posting on Stage32 to shoot a promo for my feature film project and I hope to hear from many of you: https://www.stage32.com/jobs/134284/Feature-teaser
Thank you and wish you all the best!
Daniel

Hi Daniel! Thanks for the network add. I hope you've found a good creative home in Chicago. :)

I was planning to buy a Sony NEX-FS700UK by the end of the year, which seems an amazing camera for the price range. At the beginning I'm planning to work on some corporate documentaries and some high quality backstage in the film industry. Has anyone ever used this camera? Would you like to share your experience? That would be great. Thanks!
