I haven't been on Stage32 for a while, so I feel it could be useful to re-introduce myself and share an update about what I'm working on.

I'm an Italian filmmaker relocated in USA in 2009... Since then I went through some wild emotional roller-coasters. I struggled in the 2009-2010 economy like millions of other Americans, in 2011 I had to accept a VISA that allowed me to stay in the US but not to work, in 2012 I became a father, in 2014 I was diagnosed with cancer at the bone marrow and spent two years dealing with pain, diagnosis, treatment and side effects and finally last year I received my work authorization back... So how does a filmmaker deal with this? I wrote, produced and directed a short film named Thank You Rebbe (2016) and today I finished to write my first feature film entitled Recycle Me.

Hi All! I'm so proud my first US short film has been selected in a couple of festivals (I'm from Italy, now living in Illinois) - the Glendale Intl FF in LA and another one (not allowed to say it yet! ) in NYC. Here's a 60 seconds clip from the short film (14 minutes in total). Looking forward to connecting to artists on Stage32 and I hope I'll be able to direct another short film soon!

Hi everyone, I'm re-introducing myself on Stage32 as it's been a while since I had a chance to use it. After relocating in Chicago from Milan, Italy, (2009!) I'm finally in the position once again to focus on my true work and passion, filmmaking. I wrote a short film named 'Thank You Rebbe' and I'm looking forward to film it next Spring. I moved from Italy and I'd like to continue with my film/video communication career here in Chicago as well. I was planning to buy a Sony NEX-FS700UK by the end of the year, which seems an amazing camera for the price range. At the beginning I'm planning to work on some corporate documentaries and some high quality backstage in the film industry. Has anyone ever used this camera? Would you like to share your experience? That would be great. Thanks!

Hi all! I've relocated to Chicago from Milan, Italy, in 2009. In these recent US years I've worked more on online projects rather than video/film productions but I'm planning to step back in the 'circus' by the end of the year.
