Hi John, that's great - congrats! You may want to consider connecting with other people going to the festival by creating a meetup nearby during the time the festival takes place. This way you could meet some other filmmakers in town and possibly others who are participating in the event.

Alternatively, or in addition, they may manage the day to day physical aspects of the film production, serving a role similar to the unit production manager. Line Producers usually do not act as part of the creative team for a picture." It is the hands on Producer who manages the budget, schedule, supervising hiring of crew and overseeing the film comes in on time and budget.
