I love to tell stories; I've been telling them since I was a kid. I grew up in a small college town in Western New York State where my dad had a diner and bakery. I met a lot of real-life characters over the 30 years he was in business. I was a high school dropout in the 80's, smoked a lot of weed in those days and then walked away from that lifestyle. When my dad sold the diner, I went to Community college where I was an honor student and then got a 50% scholarship to Chapman University in the screenwriting program. I had a few great screenwriting professors, one of them was Blake Snyder, who wrote "Save the Cat" the last screenwriting book you'll ever need. I also was in writing class with Matt Duffer from the series Stranger Things. I've written seven feature scripts since graduating film school at 38 years old. I don't have a destination, it's a lifelong journey, I just need to meet the right people.
I designed and built two axe throwing bars in the Raleigh, NC . That's where you can find me most days.
