About Kamal
I was born in the Fiji Islands and moved to the U.S. when I was fifteen. I have always enjoyed watching movies and a few years ago I decided to get into making them. I've mostly done short, documentary videos, produced, written and directed by myself although I've worked with other organizations on their video projects as well.
My claim to fame thus far is working on "Cowspiracy," a documentary that has Leonardo DiCaprio as an Executive Produce and is available on Netflix.
I'd also like to break into narrative filmmaking. I've written a script that made it to the quarter finals in the ScreenCraft Action/Thriller Script Contest.
I've recently finished a script for a TV pilot for an animal children's show that blends science education with sci-fi elements.
