How many movies feature New York taxi's? I couldn't resist the front seat while visiting.

The Bridge On The river Kwai location at Kitulgala, Sri Lanka. The eponimus bridge from the film was built in what was then Cylon, the real location in Burma was being ravaged by civil war at the time of shooting the film. A great day out and I met an old man who was a boy in the 1950's who gave me a tour of the remains of the foundations of the bridges legs. He spoke very emotionally about Jack Hawkins being really kind to the kids of the village.

Every man wants to be James Bond (sometimes) and this was my Bond moment with a friends Lotus Esprit from For Your Eyes Only.
