About Adam

Adam Ciancio's deep respect for the actor/director relationship combined with his unmistakable visuals has seen him direct campaigns for Levi’s, Honda, Mitsubishi, Diner’s Club, Citibank, NAB, JEEP and iSelect. In 2015 he directed the film segment of the SPC MyFamilyCan campaign which saw it awarded the Bronze Lion at the Cannes Advertising Festival and take out the Grand Prix at the Spikes Asia. Currently the campaign has over 1.5 million views online.

In 2013 Adam’s debut feature film ‘Vessel’ which he wrote, directed and produced played at Fantastic Fest in Montreal (Fantasia) where it was nominated for Best First Time Feature and named one of the top ten most anticipated films at the festival. Furthermore the film went on to garner glowing reviews in before winning best Sci-Fi Feature at the Phillip K Dick Film Festival in New York.

As a writer, his TV script “This Man” was one of four selected globally to compete at the Content London drama summit in 2015. The competition held by eONE and c21 saw those chosen, flown to London to pitch to a select panel of judges at the British Film Institute.

Currently Adam has a number of projects in various stages of development including his second feature at Film Victoria and his TV drama with Wentworth producer Amanda Crittenden.
