About Marc

Marc Gil born in 1979 in Amposta, Spain. He completed his studies in filmmaking at C.E.C.C. (Centre d'Estudis Cinematografics de Catalunya), Barcelona, in 2005. Between 2003/05 Marc directed four short films in digital format: “Realidad y Fantasia“, “Gusa-Nito“, “Cualquier Dia de Estos“ and “Noticias“. The latter being a story based on differents points of view (among four people from the same family) about Irak's War, which was selected in some Spanish film festivals. In 2006 Marc made his first short film in 35mm: “Gusa-Nito, La Leyenda del Gran Ying-Yang“. This short film was selected in some International Film Festivals. In 2009 Marc moved to London where he completed a one year Business and Technology Educational Council (BTEC) course in filmmaking at Westminster College in 2009/10. In 2012, Marc sets up the independent production company: “Keep Moving Films” in London, and writes, produces and directs his debut feature film: “D-Effects”.
