Christopher C. Brown is a native of New Orleans, Louisiana. He has worked with many members of the non-profit community in New Orleans and is a founding member of the Social Entrepreneurs of New Orleans. He is a graduate of Southeastern Louisiana University where he began his journey into filmmaking as a segment producer and Telly Award-winning director at the Southeastern Channel. He has worked in a variety of positions for such production companies as Indigent, Fallen Films, Mpower Pictures, Big Sky Motion Pictures, Lifetime, BBC, Fox, River Sig, Off-Hollywood, and New Orleans Video Access Center. Christopher produced the 48-Hour Film Competition, as well as served as Producer on “The Price of Flowers” and “holding his rabbits” and Associate Producer on “Terrebonne”, films which have been selected in several international film festivals including Cinequest, Vancouver, Atlanta, Sidewalk and New Orleans. Terrebonne won the jury prize for Best Narrative Short Film at the 2011 Sidewalk Film Festival and will also make its UK debut at the 2011 Raindance Film Festival. Christopher currently serves the public of St. Bernard Parish as an employee of the St. Bernard Parish Office of Film and Television and also serves the film community on the New Orleans Film Society Advisory Board. He is also attending Loyola University New Orleans School of Law where his concentration is on Entertainment Law to build upon his producing credentials and talents.
