Variety D is a Controversial Comedienne & she keeps everything REAL to the fullest.
Comedy is her main talent. She has performed in so many venues such as The Drum Theatre (Birmingham), Broadway Theatre (Catford), Lyric Hammersmith, Edinburgh 'FRINGE' Festival etc (Scotland). However Acting is another talent she wants to accomplish and what drove her towards that direction was her high school, she was always used to perform in Drama plays at her school since she was 11 years old and her Uncle - Paul Murphy starred in Bugsy Malone 1976, The Wiz: Musical, Hackney Empire 2000. Variety D always used to look up to him and those were the few things that pushed her forward into Drama and Stand up Comedy.
Variety D began stand up comedy since she was 16 years old and has progressed more and more as the years went on, she has progressed in learning through out the years in her work by networking in a professional environment, experiencing Repertory Theatre and Alternative Comedy (Outside her comfort zone).
To broaden her horizons in Show business, she has done a-lot of workshops not just in Comedy, she has also done
•Radio Play for BBC Radio 4 workshop: Two Birds in a Park,
•Presenter for Noostar TV supported by Porcelain Film ltd.
•Written and Directed a theatre play: Chance of Changes which was performed at The Artsdepot.
•Performed as an Actress in many theatres such as The Bull Theatre, Cockpit Theatre, Arcola Theatre etc
