My first encounter with the film industry was in the late 1980's when I was a teen. I was modelling in a local fashion show and was approached by an AD who was working with producer Maurice Smith on a couple of feature films. He introduced me and I was used as an extra in the first film then had a credited role in the second.
I left modelling and acting to pursue private enterprise as a business owner; also marriage and raising a daughter became my priorities.
It wasn't until I got divorced that I did some soul searching and decided to follow my passion in my journey rather than what was presented to me in my circumstances.
I registered with an agent in Toronto as a background performer, took acting classes at Second City and began to form my new community which I absolutely love.
I have now become a seasoned actor having had several small and supporting roles, now a lead role in a feature film this summer (2015).
I am always eager to expand my community to include inspirational and like minded creatives who love life and love what they do.
