I originally studied photography, in which I was introduced to 35mm photography. This enjoyment of working on film stock enticed my interest of pursuing a future in film. Like many, I have been passionate about film since a young age. I wanted to work in a visually creative industry that told stories that could spark your imagination. When I was young my V.C.R was a great friend and became worn out with all the tapes I fed her. Excitement and adventure, anything seemed possible when creating something that people could escape reality with.
Outside of work I like to pursue my hobbies. I spend time at my local ice rink, skating and watching ice hockey. As well as this I like to swim, do photography and experience a journey of art, such as the woodblock paintings of Hokusai and Hiroshige. Amongst these, I also, which is no surprise, love to lose myself in films.
