Alexander Molchanov

Alexander Vladimirovich Molchanov was born in 1974 in the village of Syamzha, Vologda oblast. Graduated from Vologda Pedagogical University (department of philology, theory and history of graphic arts), All-Russian State University of Cinematography (Extra Professional Training Center, scriptwriting section, the workshop of A.E.Borodyansky).
Scriptwriter of serials “The Volkov Hour”, “Code of Honor”, “Invaders”, “Moscow, the Central District” (NTV), “Churchill” (Russia), “Escape” (1st TV channel), “Bones” (STS channel), and many others.
A playwright, author of the play “The Killer” staged at thirty-odd theaters of Russia and abroad.

A laureate of drama prizes “Eurasia”, “Lyubimovka”, “Premiere”, “The Country”, “We are your children, Russia,” “New plays from Europe.”

Taught screenplay writing at the All-Russian State University of Cinematography, CinemOcean Lab, Moscow School of Cinema, Individual Direction Workshop.
