About Erik
I have been married 4 times. I have 4 kids, and still don't know what makes love work. And that should be obvious. I have spent the majority of my life working for others and myself. Some of these jobs include, Police officer, Prison Guard, Radio Ad exec, ON air Radio personality, Pawn shop Owner, Custodian, Cleaning Service supervisor, Waiter, Dishwasher, Busboy, Restaurant Manager, Bar Manager, Record Label founder, Inventor, VFW canteen manager, U.S. Navy veteran, Security Guard, Boxer, Boxing Trainer, Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) gym owner and trainer, Trailer manufacturer(builder), Forklift operator, Internet business developer/and web site owner. Construction Laborer, Cook, Defense attorney investigator, Mobile sound system DJ, Club/bar/strip club DJ. High School sports official, City Recreation sports official. Wow I just realized, I have had a few jobs. Paper Boy, Snow removal, Lawn mowing business (at 9 years old) What this means as a writer? It takes life experience, and variety to be a good writer. So I got started very early. But through it all, there is one profession, or job that has been my one constant, and the thing I want to die doing, is to be an author, and Screenwriter.
I have never given up on this dream, and it haunts me daily, which is why I write so much. I literally write everyday, sometimes it's just honey do lists my wife makes me write, or a grocery list, but I try to write those well also. And to make it fun I will purposely not buy something on my wife's list, and replace it with something we don't really need. I mean come on, a man must have some control over his life.
Unique traits: Concept, to rough draft in a week. Give me a log line, or a smidgen of an idea and you will get a story.
