Scott W. Perry was born on August 13, 1977 on Long Island, where he has lived all his life. At an early age, Scott developed a love for film. In 2000, Scott focused his energies on screenwriting and studied intensely. In 2005, Slick Devil Entertainment was launched and shortly thereafter came its first project, "Unadulterated," which was an internet sensation with over one million views online. Perry has also worked on several other projects in the New York area and added journalist to his resume in 2007 with the launch of the Colonel's Crypt website (renamed the Slick Devil Movie House). Since its launch, Scott has interviewed over 300 top names in the film industry as well as the best up and coming talent with a unique website devoted to the art of genre themed cinema. His next project "Insatiable," was met with rave reviews and was featured on . Perry's next film "Something Just" was critically acclaimed, winning 4 Awards at the 2012 Terror Film Festival in Philadelphia, including Best Short Fantasy Film. In 2012, Perry retired the Movie House website and focused entirely on film. 2012 also brought In Fear Of, which Perry created to make a series of short films based on phobias. The pilot episode, Monophobia: Fear Of Being Alone, teamed Perry with scream queen Debbie Rochon and received an award for Best Horror Comedy Short at the Buffalo Screams Horror Film Fesvial. With the second season of In Fear Of, Perry continues to put his unique talents as director, producer, writer, editor, and cinematographer to the forefront.
