I've started acting at the age of 6 and pretty much always knew this was my calling (whether or not I was able to do it depending on the circumstances). After moving to Texas for good in 2011, I was cast in a few feature films, a TV series, shorts, commercials... and I am always looking forward to connecting with creative, inspiring people. This is just the intro (gotta keep the audience wanting more...right?) so don't be scared to hit "add" and let's chat!
Hello Paula. Thank you for the add:) Your personality rocks!
Well, thank you mister! Nice to meet you :-)
Thank you. Likewise. I love writing comedy, so look out for a role
You know, at least here and in Texas in general, there is a serious shortage of comedies. I absolutely love doing comedies. I need a relief from being the seriously disturbed, psycho girl :-)
LMAO.... Well then I'll do my best. What I'm working on is, a project called "What The Bleep?" I think what's challenging, and I'm prepared to take the task, will be creating a sort of jaded like girl...

I think what's challenging, and I'm prepared to take the task, will be creating a sort of jaded like girl, with a dry sense of humor and make her more charming, out-going, and the hidden back bone of the comedy throughout the film. I'll let you know how it goes....

I often create comedic projects (or interesting mixes of genres), and especially love quirky characters and complex relationships. Since I was a young girl I've had an interest in writing, directing, and acting. I went to NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts where I studied acting and directing for theater. I also went to the Columbia Grad Film program, where I wrote, directed, and produced a strong body of film and TV projects. Many of my past projects have been honored in festivals and script contests. Since graduating from Columbia I've divided my time between writing, directing, and casting for film, TV, web series, commercials, and music videos (as both a writer and director for hire and on my own projects as well). I've also developed a strong passion for teaching and consulting actors and screenwriters. Recently one of the web series I was a staff writer for was optioned by a TV network. I'm currently in post production for a comedy web series I created and star in, as well as developing a new pilot and feature script.

Certainly getting equity status would help but I'm not geographically situated to capitalize on the kinds of productions that will earn me credit toward that. Someone with some knowledge told me to get an agent. Is that important? Are there legitimate website agencies? How do I go that route and know that I'm getting what I pay for? What should I expect? "So much time, so little to do." Sorry, I couldn't resist a favorite movie quote of mine. I do quirky well. Thanks for any suggestions you can offer.
Hey Danielle - definitely! Just pick a date/time/place and I'll get it sent right away :) we would love to have our Austin Stage 32ers represented at our 3 year anniversary party in LA!
