About Radhika

Radhika is an energetic actress with a history of playing gritty and humorous characters. She has won notable roles including on BBC 1′s, CASUALTY, and the groundbreaking Channel 4 mini-series, SECOND GENERATION. In 2003, Radhika put her career on hold to study Philosophy, Politics and Economics at Oxford University. Whilst at University she performed with the OXFORD REVUE, co-presented the BREAKFAST SHOW for Oxide Radio Station, and appeared at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival in the satirical play, THE IMPORTANCE OF BEING TURBANN’D which also featured on Newsnight.

Radhika made her long-awaited return to acting with her award winning one woman show entitled AN ARRANGEMENT OF SHOES. It sold-out on its London run at the Cock Tavern Theatre and in Edinburgh and Exeter, receiving rave reviews. Recently she has filmed NEW TRICKS for the BBC.

Besides acting Radhika is passionate about teaching maths and making music. She has played the Steel Pan and French Horn for over ten years and currently drums for a rock band.
