About Euan

Hello everybody! I'm an 18 year-old aspiring filmmaker trying his hardest to make his way in the world. I am currently on my Gap Year and will be studying Film Production and Cinematography at Bournemouth University in September 2014. I would love things to do during my last few months and this unique website is a good place to start.

I'm influenced by many independent and innovative American filmmakers including Stanley Kubrick, David Lynch, Terrence Malick, Francis Ford Coppola, Woody Allen, Martin Scorsese, Christopher Nolan, David Fincher, Paul Thomas Anderson, and Quentin Tarantino - amongst the great foreign directors like Ingmar Bergman, Jean-Luc Godard, Andrei Tarkovsky, Michelangelo Antonioni, Yasujiro Ozu, and Sergio Leone.

I enjoy surrealism as well as drama and I have tried to combine the two in the short films I've created. This is why Stanley Kubrick and David Lynch are amongst my favourite all-time directors.

I have written scripts for a few short films, the first two episodes of a surreal web-series, and a horror feature film. Currently I am writing another feature film in the crime/horror genre as well as attempting to make a comedy short, written by myself and Owen Collins.
