Rachel Dawkins, owner of War Paint LLC, is a celebrity makeup artist and hairstylist specializing in the areas of commercial print, film, video, runway, red carpet, boudoir and, weddings. Starting out in Tucson Arizona Rachel’s reputation quickly expanded beyond local boundaries and she became the go-to person for celebrity photographers and ad campaigns. Her work brought her to Los Angeles, California, a mecca for luxury fashion, photography, advertising and film. While in Los Angeles she was able to hone her skills and gain unique experience. Working on ads for big name companies such as Red Bull, Pfizer and Febreze. Working with celebrity photographers such as Joel Grimes, Barry Druxman, Christos Sewell, George DeLoache, Steven Barston and, Robert Dahey. Doing makeup and hair for models from Elite, Ford, Next, Wilhemina, Photogenices, M model Management and, ONE Model Management. Gaining expirence working with Artist from lables such as Interscope, Sony, Warner Brothers and, talented artist such as Andre Merritt and DJ BetaTraxx. Celebrities such as Reggie Bush, William Blackmon, Carrissa Moore and Samantha Lockwood. Rachel believes that every person has a unique beauty like a fingerprint and it is that that sets us apart from others. In her career as a makeup artist and hairstylist it is her goal to enhance the beauty that each person has naturally, working with her skills to help her clients get the best image possible from each shoot.
