Would anyone be interested in getting leads for industry jobs? I get a few emailed to me daily and most of the time don't have the qualifications.

Once he introduced her to his site STAGE 32 she'd been shopping for Writers and Scripts she could go out with. Checking in has paid off: last weekend Babz found on Stage 32 PJ and read her script HEAVEN SENT and was blown away. Babz says "You know talent when you read it. You know market ready when you hear it and you know marketable product when you find it. We found all that and more in PJ. A consummate wordsmith, witty and kind, PJ has many genres under her belt. We are already writing a deal for her. We are in debt to Stage 32 in more ways than I can say; THANK YOU STAGE 32!"
Great to be networked!! Cheers! :)
Go, PJ! She's a very talented writer. I know PJ and her work from American Zoetrope.
Greg, thank you for the kind words. :)
You've been at this game a loooooong time. I'm glad to see things are happening for you.
Such good news! Kudos!!
Hello Fellow Screenwriters! What do you think is the best screenwriting software? Thanks for your feedback.

Expand commentThe best one is the one you like best and gets you too sit down and be productive. Nothing else matters - we either send PDFs or hard copies most of the time - so it doesn’t matter if it’s FD or fade or movie magic. Go with what you like. As long as you format you can use is up to snuff - you can use Billy Widler’s old Remington typewriter. Only the end result is important.
I use Final Draft. I use to have issues with older versions of FD like 6 & 7, but since 9 came out it has been perfect. I write everything on that except for novels. TV Shows, Movies, and my comic book scripts are all on FD. I also really like their notecard outline feature.
I use writerduet. Is it the best? who knows? But its not the software that gets you a deal! As long you find it user friendly and has the features you like then write.
These Zombie posts never die.
I suggest you use writer duet.

Expand commentHi Dita: Thanks for connecting today! Certainly, when I'm not eeking in time to write screenplays, I'm also trying keep "day jobs" coming in the entertainment/media business here in L.A. and I would be most grateful for any leads! I'm not if the "leads" you get are related to my areas of experience/expertise, but I would certainly be grateful for any in the areas of MARKETING, PUBLIC RELATIONS and ADVERTISING. I do have a portfolio viewable at http:.//www.behance.net/MFreemanBizFXMedia, in addition to my professional LinkedIn profile viewable at http://www.linkedin.com/in/michaelafreeman. Please let me know if you need email address and other contact info - would it be best if I email it to you directly or through here on Stage32? Thank you again for being so proactive and considerate to extend the offer to other Stage 32 members here! Please also feel free to query me on anything where I can be of assistance! Cheers, Michael

Expand commentHi Michael, I read in your bio that you are interested in World War II history. I was working on a treatment for a story (screenplay) based in part on the lives of my writing partner's mother, grandmother and uncle and their experiences during the war. We want to turn it into a screenplay. Maybe you can give some technical advice or even contribute in other way. All of our work is done on SPEC at this time. Looking forward to receiving your email address, so I can forward some leads to you. Dita
