Kat Scicluna

Kat Scicluna is an entertainer, writer and director trained in improvisational comedy through the long form program at Upright Citizens Brigade. She is also certified in canine, equine and companion animal sports/stress massage therapy & reiki, with studies completed at Equissage under the tutelage of the incredible Mary Schreiber.

Currently working as a horse wrangler for the CINEMAX miniseries THE KNICK, Kat also just taped the role of Trisha the Mail Girl for THE MICHAEL J FOX SHOW on NBC. THE NAKED TRUTH ABOUT FAIRIES, a short film in which she both acted and co-produced just wrapped last weekend. The Jillian Michaels Summer Workout Series for SHAPE Magazine online completed it's launch ~ Kat is the instructional voice over for these videos - which held the top 3 spots for most shared content for this summer. Her summer project, GAS OUT, qualified her for the Writers Guild of America, and she is currently shopping it with her co-writer, Lori Martini as online comedy content for cable television. Her original short film, SHARED UNIVERSE, won the "The Audience Choice Award" in The Ultimate FIlmmaker 7-Day Challenge and she was also nominated for "Best Actress" at the Sparrow Film Fest for her work on the short film STRANGE ANIMAL in the role of GIRL. The short film PLANS, in which Kat is the lead actress, is now in the film festival circuit. More important than any of this is that she is living life with enthusiasm and spirit every day in the greatest city in the world, New York!
