I'm a professional calligrapher - my writing hand is occasionally seen in films. I'm also the author of 6 books traditionally published by HarperCollins, Allen and Unwin and others companies, and the former Queensland state coordinator of the Society of Children's Book Writers and Illustrators. My screenplay in progress is a creative biography of a Victorian English hermit who boarded himself up in the family home for 25 years and became a tourist attraction. The plot centres around brother's struggle to gain his share the house as his inheritance and have the hermit committed as insane. But this is my first screenplay, so I've a lot to learn and it will take a considerable time to complete.
Let me know if there's ever a way you think I can help.
I'd love to network with other members working on stories set in England 1820-1880.
