Tom Hendricks

Is an American actor/comedian, webmaster, volunteer and supporter of several non-profit organizations and producer.

He currently is working with Homeward Bound Theater company out of Chanhassen, Minnesota doing Childrens Shows as Cat in the Hat and the Scarecrow from Oz (Oz Brothers) for the last 7 years. Before this, he was the village idiot for the Minnesota Renaissance Festival.
He has over 35 years of entertainment history.

In 2021 Tom received a National Award for his work in Public Access Television for his camera work "Best of Democracy in Action" from Alliance for Community Media.

A songster, he has performed with Sherwin Linton (CMA), in the Minnesota Jackpot Casino talent search (1996) and legend county singer Hank Thompson" Flame Cafe" Rememberance Day in Minneapolis, MN.

Specializing in Blues and Broadway tunes, Tom as expanded his likes karaoke with vocal impersonations of Cher, Madonna, Johnny Mathis, Nat "King" Cole and a variety of other top notch entertainers. He has won numerous awards for vocal renditions, and his renditions have rivaled those of international fame.

Tom has acted on the nationally syndicated Jenny Jones Show, appeared as an extra in the film Mighty Ducks, acted locally and nationally in over thirty stage productions. He has appeared in and A&E Production and been on America's Funniest Videos along with a one minute salute on Last Comic Standing television series.

His "celebrity" impersonations have rivaled some of the top in the business. Among his favorites are Lily Tomlin's Ma Bell favorite operator "Ernestine" and the timeless Elvis Presley and Buddy Holly. His voice has echoed the tones of Karen Carpenter, Henry Fonda, Judy Garland, Billie Holiday, Patsy Cline and Ronald Regan to name a few.

Tom is author of the 2006 state of Minnesota, "Judy Garland Day", honoring her work in the noted Wizard of Oz movie. Tom plays the "Scarecrow" at her namesake museum The Judy Garland Museum in Grand Rapids, Minnesota for the last 17 years.

He memorized the mannerisms of the screen stars that he saw and created an impressionist act. He worked at his grade school playgrounds doing character roles in children's plays. By age thirteen he was donned "Little Groucho" from the now famous Groucho Marx and readily did Mae West and W.C. Fields when he was just ten years old in grade school. He went to college and pursed a degree in Theatre Management and minored in Psychology. He helped his psychology teacher, Margaret Meuret Phillip get attention from Dr. Philip Zimbardo from San Diego, California.

Now he is a Producer with his last production at the famed Kato Ballroom (2024) "A Closer Walk with Patsy Cline."
Had 5 standing ovations to a six night performances. Plus he wrote a story on Patsy Cline's second husband Charlie Dick, in a fan-based book called "Patsified" due out in 2025.

Tom is also a published Author, Photographer and Studio Camera Operator
