William Ayers - Filmmaker - Looking to connect and make things happen

Hello everyone. I am a filmmaker, residing in Rhode Island, but are looking to connect with those professional individuals who are looking to make great film(s) and talk about the future of what further possibilities are ahead, too.

Jane Schnitter

What type of films? Feature, shorts, animation?

FEATURES AND SHORTS

Barb Arnett-Combs

Hi William! With all the creative minds on this site I am sure great films are just productions away!

William Ayers

Hi Barb......I agree with that statement. As I feel that many great films will be seen in the up and coming future......very soon.

Jane Schnitter
Screenwriter

Hi, everyone. I am fairly new to Stage 32, but have been writing for a while now. I had a couple of books published years ago, but moved onto scripts about five years ago. I have a variety of scripts in the hands of producers trying to procure funding, but have yet to see one of my scripts make it t...

Using Celtx

Has anyone used the Celtx program to write their screenplays? I was wondering if it was worth downloading.

James O'Hagan

Agreed, I use Celtx now, but it's a pain in the ass sometimes. I do like the cloud feature though so I can jump from my Mac, IPhone and iPad.

Robert Sprawls

James, you could get that from a cloud drive, such as dropbox or amazon's cloud drive. Admittedly, the space is more limited, up to 5Gig, but it's free.

Ken Koh

Celtx is good but Adobe Story is Better

Fernando George De La Cruz

I use Final Draft 9. Its the industry standard for screenwriting. Look into Final draft.

Ken Koh

Yes I use Final Draft, is the best but pricey.

I saw the trailer for your book and find it very interesting. I have family members afflicted with mental illness and the cause is close to my heart. My family was actually featured in a book about mental illness. Wish I could think of the name of it right now.

Heather McLaughlin

I wrote an e-book called Being So Called Bipolar. I'll include it in my portfolio for screenplays although it isn't a screenplay. I can relate tremendously with being bipolar and I like reading things about it. Please share more.

Jane Schnitter

My youngest daughter is bipolar. The second youngest is schizophrenic. Both were born to crack addicted moms. We adopted them when they were 5 and 7.

New screenwriter

Hi. I'm new to 32 and really don't know anything about it. I am a screenwriter who has written many scripts, but have yet to see one go to production. One of my scripts has been published on Amazon as a book, but it is just the script with a cover. I am not listed on the cover, but given credit on t...

Shanelle, I did not put the book there, but I actually am almost finished with one that I will place on Amazon. The book currently on Amazon was put there by the person I wrote the script for. I get credit only.

Janet Stafford

Awesome! Congrats on finishing the book. What's it about? P.S. Thanks for the follow. :)

Curt Butler

... Congrats welcome to Stage32...

Jane Schnitter

Janet, it's called The Biggest Bully and it is about dealing with the public school system. It's 6 rules to follow, each one followed by stories of my experiences with my seven children. I come out the hero, of course.

Kira George

Hi, Welcome Jane... I am curious to know what happens to the book thing... keep us posted... There are new things happening everyday that we like to be made aware of... again, welcome! :)
