Andrew Jonathon Ord

A British born, Shanghai based Freelance Creative Director I am a commissioned and optioned screenwriter that has co-scripted and developed various projects including a Transmedia series and a Feature Script adapted from an existent Comic Book Property.

Most recently my current writing partner and I have embarked on our Contemporary British SocioPolitical Folk Horror Feature script 'Working Title: Hostile Island' drawing on the works of among others Alan Clarke, Val Lewton and the philosophy of Hauntology that is firmly focused on the A24 market:

Alongside this project I've also attached an Eisner Nominated artist to my Period set Graphic Novel which is currently being packaged for Publishers.

Inspired by Alejandro González Iñárritu's 'Carne Y Arena' among others, in my mad story scientist laboratory I am currently tinkering away with how to build alternative IP/ Brand experiences and present socially conscious narrative/ story worlds in deconstructed forms.
