About Kelly

I'm a bit of a multi-tasker really. As a freelance designer, I have worked in indie film and some theatre... & I'm also a jeweller & sculptor.
I design & create costumes, mainly fantasy mythical, sometimes sculptural & often children's.
With my classical jewellery training I design & create historical, fantasy & mythical pieces as large or as tiny as needed.
And finally as a course facilitator & teacher I run Personal Development, Empowerment, Art & the Core Self Connection, & Sculpture courses in Devon, UK & Andalucia, Spain. These are aimed at artists & creatives wishing to delve deeper into their psyche & mine that fount of inspiration!

Unique traits: I have a mind that thinks 'out of the box', & because of my artistic training I come at projects from a different angle. I have a 'what if I do it this way' attitude to stretch my skills. I believe pretty much anything can be sculpted, be it from clay, fabric or collected materials. I approach each costume, or jewellery accessory as I would a sculpture or art piece, with emphasis on character, narrative & fine attention to detail. I smile a lot ... I like to make people happy... life's too short not to!
