Good is more powerful that evil, over the years the Hollywood elite has made it look the other way around. I would love to work together with you on any project that "glorifies God".

Expand commentI am working on a short next year that will have LITTLE onscreen violence, maybe a little network TV language from time to time, and doesn't glorify evil. Its direction is going to invoke memories of the cinema masters, John Ford and Alfred Hitchcock. It isn't a "Christian" film, but I'm a Christian and want to make real works of cinematic art. Since most of the movie (75 percent) will be shot outdoors, I think the beauty of nature glorifies God, even though I'm sure that nobody will be preaching in this movie. It's a suspense thriller, shot extensively at UNCW, but I won't make it as a "student film" and will opt for "lighter thinking/excercise classes" if I get the greenlight. The script hasn't been written yet, but the concept is "The Searchers" meets "UNCW advertisement." I estimate that it might cost around 7,000 dollars (food and acting/crew wages, as well as memory cards), but might go cheaper due to the use of rented equipment. As soon as I get the script and make the proper revisions, I'll post it to you. If you decide not to produce based on the script, could you recommend me another producer? God bless, John Alston PS. The story is your standard "search for kidnapping victim." but hopefully the writing and directorial vision and cinematography + editing can make it great. Music's always important too.
