IF IT RAINS was a NICHOLS and PAGE screenplay contest FINALIST. This story is inspired by the sketchy and mischievous life of Texas oil well fire fighter Tex Thornton. This is “Stand By Me” meets” There Will be Blood/The Rainmaker”, and is a Pied Piper/Coming of Age story.
