Hi, I'm Michale, I do go by Micki. And you all may called me Micki.

Currently working on an animation with my daughter and daughter-in-law.

It's still in the first draft.

I am Michale and it's pronounced like Michael. My projects are my beginner's chapter books, and writing a screenplay with my daughter and my daughter in law. I do have three screenplays and it needs some work.

I live in Alabama. Transplanted from Kansas when husband joined the Army. Now is retired and currently a truck driver. So he is gone for five to six days a week.

I get my writing done when he is gone.

Took a few classes with screenwritingu and screenwriting university.

My genres are family, action, and animation.

Hello, everyone! I am Michale Hess, a writer of a children's book and presently taking classes in screenwriting. I live in Alabama with my hubby; we are married for thirty odd years. I am framing my first coming of age screenplay; this is my first time of writing a screenplay.

I'll be attending a film fest for the first time this year (GI Film Fest) and I was wondering if folks can share some networking tips for a writer. I don't plan on shooting my own scripts, but I'd like to make connections with a director, producer, agent, whomever I meet. I figure I just need to have my elevator pitches down and be conversational about what I'm looking for. I just want to feel like I accomplished something other than having seen some great indies. Any tips or things to expect or be prepared for would help. And do I really need business cards?
